I noticed that you have posted about Julian Beever and his artwork on your blog in the past, and I thought you would be interested in his newest creation.
My agency recently worked with Julian to create the “Fountain of Youth” in Union Square in NYC a few weeks ago. We recorded a video of how he works and posted it on YouTube. You can check it out here:
It’s the first video we’ve seen produced of how he creates his amazing pavement drawings. Check it out, see what you think, and pass it along if you like it.
Let me know if you’d like to know more about the campaign.
we were currently studying perspective for our alevel course work and was looking at the work of julian beaver.on a trip to the tate i was shocked to bump into the man himself drawing big ben it was amazeing i lookwd through the camera and it truely looked like sumone was trapped ontop of big ben i find it really hard to draw perspective its really amazeing how he does this .
I am a middle aged person who is amazed at Julian’s wonderful artwork. I am doing a research paper on optical illusion and optical art. What better person to do this paper than on him. Thank you for the wonderful work you do. It gives us such joy even if it is for a few moments before it is washed away.
If you liked his work, you will also like Kurt Wenner’s Street Painting. It is the same technique of anamorphic drawing, but the concept is different. He portrays mainly mythological beings and legends from Greece and Rome.
Thanks for a marvelous posting! I actually enjoyed
reading it, you might be a great author. I will be sure to bookmark your
blog and will often come back very soon. I want to encourage one to continue your great job, have a nice afternoon!
Oh my goodness! Incredible article dude! Thank you so much, However I am experiencing difficulties with your RSS.
I don’t know why I am unable to subscribe to it. Is there anybody
else having identical RSS problems? Anyone that
knows the answer can you kindly respond? Thanx!!
The year's at the spring,
And day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven;
The hill-side's dew-pearled;
The lark's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn;
God's in his Heaven -
All's right with the world!
That’s great. *____* *loves the perspective*
If I ever found such a thing on the streets I’d flip out, I guess. I’d be in an Escher-like environment.^^
